No Ordinary Home

When I first met my clients, Chris and Brooke, we were casually discussing rugs in a local consignment shop. Fast forward 4 months later, and their new 60’s home has a bold modern eclectic look, and I’ve just completed my first client design project.

I’m really excited about sharing these photos of my first client design with you—we are all very pleased with the final outcome! Working with Brooke and Chris has been an absolute dream and I can honestly say this was a group effort. They were so open to some of my crazier ideas like covering chairs in vintage tartan throws, and they both have an amazing eye for art and decorative objects.

We’ve just completed the front of the home, concentrating on the formal living, dining and entry way. We used lots and lots of vintage of course, sourced from so many of our local vintage dealers like Scout Design, Antiques Moderne, and Consignment Heaven. I also spy a beautiful rug from ShopAtlantisHome in the formal living area.

A big thank you to Sea of Shoes for taking all these beautiful photos! As 2016 is wrapping up, I think it’s safe to say we look forward to tackling the rest of this 60’s ranch dream home in 2017!

Xoxo,

Judy

It looks amazing… it feels so collected and natural. Not the set-up feeling you sometimes get form a professional interior designer. I just love the green velvet on the couch too
