Oct. 17th was the most clever name I could come up with for this post because the photos really have no rhyme nor reason. They were taken when Jane and I were out running errands, and I kind of liked this outfit, so thought I would share.
Carol is home for fall break, so I am ecstatic to see her!
Carrying one of my favorite old bags–it’s by Golden Bleu. Wonder if they are still around? I always liked that company.
Trying on a sweater at H&M with my vintage fur collar. Hope to get my second Thrift Store Essentials finished today. I think you will really like it.

October 17, 2012 at 8:17 pmGorgeous as always- I now have to have a faux fur collar like that. A step up from a scarf. I’m really looking forward to your next thrifting post. After your last one, I headed out to the thrift stores and wasn’t as lucky as you. But I live in Seattle, and honestly, people dress so poorly here it makes sense that there would be few wearable clothes in the thrift stores. I have much better luck at consignment stores. And I’m not giving up on the thrifts- every once in a while there will be gem! I do miss well-dressed Dallas….
