Kind of assaults the eyes at first glance and then you just want to wander around undisturbed for an hour or so touching everything, don’t you? The gold deco chairs in the front are spectacular. I wish people would use gigantic plants like that more often – they really anchor a space somehow; or at least enhance it. Thanks for sharing, that was a treat! Sheila April 18, 2012 at 8:41 pm Aesthetics aside, how on earth do you properly clean a room like that? Maneuvering a vacuum would be like running an obstacle course, and dusting would take centuries with so many breakable things sitting out. I would wager she didn’t have small children at this time!
