I’m just about settled into my new home, but unfortunately not out of my old home. Still much work to be done. Tomorrow is garage day, and I’m dreading that! I hope to be back to regular posting mid-week. For now, here is a picture of the new office of Atlantis Home and Sea of Shoes. Jane and I threw some leftover pieces together, but I’m pleased with how it turned out. Simple and clean.
Remember the headboard I posted earlier? Here is the finished product.
There was a lot of interest in the fabric on my sofa and dining chairs. I love it!! Here is what I know about it. It was designed by Jack Lenor Larsen, and my pieces were done in 1972. I’m lucky the pieces I got are in such great shape. I don’t know if it is available now. I hope it is, I will be so sad when I have to reupholster the pieces that I have, it is truly the coolest fabric, and Shelly loves it too.
I found this (actually a pair) browsing on Ebay last night. They’re kind of pricey though.
I found these decanters at an antique mall, I think I’ll start a collection. Love the crackle glass.
There are a lot of new jewelry pieces on the site, have a look.

February 19, 2012 at 12:23 amYour places always have “comfortable glamor”- love this. And I’m wishing you the best in the final stages of the move… moving is just the worst and it always feels endless. But it looks like you’re over the worst of it.
