13 In Style

Elmira Jane and I have been trying to take advantage of some of this amazing fall light.  This was taken just about an hour before it was pitch black.

Wearing rabbit fur from Laced with Romance–a vintage find in Austin.  Hysteric Glamour jeans that are now in desperate need of repair, Kate Spade shoes, and vintage cashmere sweater.

Looking very comfy & fluffy in that jacket! Love the contrast against the wall!

That blue wall creates the perfect contrast to the red fur. I like it how you combined the more glamorous items (fur, Kate Spade heels) with the damaged jeans and heavy brown belt. And I love that cashmere sweater, looks like the perfect shade of pink and so cozy!

I adore both you and Jane. It’s hard to see real fur though. I much prefer it when one of you is wearing faux fur – I then feel fellow-animal-love-pride for you and with you! 🙂

I love the shape of this coat though – I have several pieces w/ this same overall construction. Also, red is a really fantastic color on you.

You have great style but I would suggest even vintage fur is not cool. Please consider burying vintage fur so it can be returned to the land in honor of the animals who lived miserable lives – and deaths – for the fur industry. Just a thought.
