lizard

I found this little anole in my house the other day doing his best to imitate a spoke on my Warren Platner chair.  I didn’t have the heart to tell him that he was not quite as anonymous as he wished to be.  He’s safely out in the garden now.

Happy New Year to everyone!!  Here’s to not blending in!

Oh, I love these guys! They are often a welcome friend for an animal person that doesn’t have pets. Their frantic darts here and there make me want to say, “Chill out buddy…no need to worry. You just don’t exactly fit in…you might be better off here (upon relocation).” Thanks for sharing!

That is the most quirkily original, and fitting New Year post and photo that I’ve seen anywhere. And yes, here’s to not blending in!

Chauss–No sightings of Fido in several months. He has moved his territory to where he is right in Townsend’s travel path, when he loops through the yard. I think this may have him keeping a low profile. I hope to see him in the spring–will definitely tweet if we see him! Happy New Year

Happy New Year to you all. What an adorable photo. I too have fallen in love with well designed chairs so I know this poor little guys dilemma. The hubby has expressed wanting to do the whole Super Bowl thing if the Patriots make it. I am hoping to tag along for a Dallas visit. I’ll keep yall posted 🙂 Cheers and Happy New Year.

That little fella has very good taste in design.

Maybe he could be an intern? A consultant?

Happy New Year to you and your beautiful girls and adorable doggies!!!

This photo is so great. The colors are so rich and warm…love the bronzey-ness…and he’s just darling.
