34 In Misc

When I was growing up, my older sister had all of the Breyer plastic horses.  I was never allowed to play with them, or even look at them.  I had Breyer horse envy my entire childhood.  The other day while browsing E-bay for vintage zodiac jewelry, I found this great Breyer ram from the 70's.  I had to have to him….

Happy ram

Isn't he great?  He is now sitting on my desk.  By the way, the Laloon post and this guy are the first time using my D80 since it came back from the shop.  My camera took a spill at LAX in July, and I just now got it back.  So happy about that.  Back to my ram–I'm stumped on a name for him.  Any ideas?

What a handsome Ram! First name that popped into my mind was Ram-Bo (RAMBO). 😛
My son has a collection of Breyer horses that my dad has given to him. I love Breyer animals.

My brother had Breyer animals when we were kids. of course, we didn’t know any better than to play hard with them and I’m pretty sure we ruined the entire set.
I like Aureliano for the ram. From One Hundred Years of Solitude?

Oh, what a sweetheart! He definitely looks like his name begins with Z. Zacharias? Zebedieh? Phinneus (which doesn’t start with a Z but it a name I have always thought belonged to a ram)?

Gah, so cheesy but the only thing thats in my mind is Rambo, haha. But some of my favourite names are Hamish, Javier, Cuba, but i think Charlie is fitting. it’s cute but strong.

I love Breyers! I have a huge collection. A great place to look for inexpensive Breyers (and other model horses) is here: http://www.modelhorsesalespages.com/sales It’s often cheaper than eBay.
