FIDO THE FREELOADING LIZARD

People that follow me on Fido 2

He's really pretty cute….. and quite large too.

Fido 4

We tried to throw Fido out twice, but we would come home to find him waiting at the front door, ready to be let back in.  We gave in and let him stay. I'm kind of attached to the little guy now.  We even went to the pet store and bought him some tiny crickets. He does scare visitors at times when he runs out suddenly.

Fido 3

I'm beginning to wonder if he will move out in the spring?

He’s adorable! If you keep feeding him he’ll stay πŸ™‚ He might move outdoors but he’ll stay near your house because he knows where he can get some good eats. Thanks for sharing πŸ™‚

So true Arline–I love all the lizards that live in my yard–they are the best bug management.

So funny! I had a lizard that moved in a couple of years ago after he lost his tail (which I assume my cats did). He hung out in the bathroom shower and eventually moved out again after his tail grew out (and while the cat was sleeping, I suspect). I wonder what your dogs think of the new family member?

Wouldn’t it be nice to live somewhere warm enough to have neat lizards coming in for the winter instead of chipmunks and mice… ah well. πŸ™‚

We had geckos in the house when we lived in Florida. They were excellent pest control, and cute besides. Enjoy Fido!
